REZEEN Art & Design Resin is a 2 part clear Epoxy resin ideal for coating surfaces and giving a glossy, glass-like effect.
Suitable for artwork made with glass, ceramic, metal and wood, fabric and canvas.
A highly viscous, odorless and solvent free formula.
Packs come with one container of resin and one container of hardener. Application requires a simple 1:1 ratio. Combine 1 part resin with 1 part hardener. Stir for 3-4 minutes.
If using 1kg of resin, mix with 1kg of hardener.
By weight: 100 parts resin + 90 parts hardener
By volume: 100 parts resin + 100 parts hardener
Apply the finished mixture via pouring, a brush or foam roller. One coat is enough.
We have a great selection of metallic pigments, pearlescent pigments, thermochromic pigments, even silver and gold leaf you can add to your finished piece if desired. Only small amounts should be used either in the resin mixture or sprinkled over the poured, wet resin. Use a blow torch to disperse the pigments at least 30cm away from your surface (do not use this technique if your artwork is made with alcohol ink).
Bubbles can be removed from the resin with a pin or heat source e.g. a blowtorch on a low setting.
250g of resin mixture can be worked for 15-20 minutes at 23C/73F. In 4-5 hours, the resin will be partially cured and can be touched. The resin has curing time of 6-8hrs at 20C/68F.
Ensure to protect your surface from dust for 12-24 hours. The resin will be fully cured in 5-7 days.
This resin should not be used on objects exposed to temperatures between 45-50C (113-122F), such as tableware and dishware like mugs.

0.572m² = 400g Pack (200g resin + 200g hardener)
2.86m² = 2kg Pack (1kg resin + 1kg hardener)
5.72m² = 4kg Pack (2kg resin + 2kg hardener)
14.30m² = 10kg Pack (5kg resin + 5kg hardener)
71.50m² = 50kg Pack (25kg resin + 25kg hardener)
