This ink is Thermochromic, meaning it reacts to changes in temperature by exhibiting a colour change. Suitable for application to paper, board & textiles.

This pack comprises of 50% Thermochromic water based slurry and 50% water based binder. When mixed together 50/50, these make a water-based Thermochromic screen printing paste.

When printing onto paper or fabric, your chosen ink colour will 'disappear' and become translucent as the temperature rises above its activation temperature. It will reverse back to its original colour once the temperature falls below your chosen temperature.

This product creates a matte finish. To create a gloss finish, laminate or spot finish your surface

Remember to heat cure your finished product (up to a maximum temperature of 70C/158F).

Apply 2/3 thin, even coats.  Screen printing method will give you lovely thin, even coats.  You cannot apply this product via paint brush as this will make thick, uneven coat and you will see a milky or cloudy clearance.  You can use a foam mini roller but you must roll off all excess first before applying, if the coat is too thick it will give a cloudy or milky clearance,  have a piece of paper handy for that

Please note one ink cannot be mixed with other colours or layered on top of each other.

Just like any other screen printing ink, cleaning up is nice and easy. Just use hot soapy water.

This product can be used in a variety of applications including high-end promotional items like tickets, advertising, labels/tags, packaging, security documents, colour changing t-shirts, toys, novelties.
