SFXC Neon Fluorescent Screen Printing Ink
SFXC fluorescent screen printing inks are neon and luminous and oh so bright!
They work by absorbing UV light and then the ink emits neon light.
We have 8 colours available. This ink is water based so cleaning up can be done just with a cloth and warm, soapy water.
Fluorescent inks are semi-transparent, so their colour strength is weaker than ordinary inks, due to them not having solid colour. Therefore, it is best to use several coats in application.
Use these inks against a white background to bring out the strength of the pigment.Fluorescent inks are suitable for paper, board, textiles and fabrics. For paper and board screen printing applications, use a 77T mesh.
Sizes available are 50ml, 100ml and 1 litre. However, if you require trade quantities, please contact us.
Don’t leave fluorescent inks in sunlight for a long period of time. They are light sensitive, and this will cause their neon properties to degrade. Similarly, they have low weather resistance, so care should be taken when using outside. After covering your material with this ink, do not use a protective varnish as it will reduce its luminosity. Instead, use several layers to enhance its useable life.
If you want to make an impression with your design, fluorescent ink is for you. Applications for our screen-printing inks include advertising, marketing, design, printing and art and craft. Another way to use this product is for safety purposes, due to their bright and glowing colour.
Fluorescent inks works very well in flexographic and gravure printing techniques. If an offset printing process is required- for example in paper-based applications, use smooth or coated paper for best results and two or more layers if possible. On the other-hand, laser printing is not a suitable technique when using fluorescent inks, due to the high heat required in this process.
For fabric applications, coarse textiles will enable a thick layer to be applied to your application.
