Important Note: This product is suitable for paper board and certain fabrics. Thorough testing is essential to ensure compatibility with your specific material and printing process. The 28C range change from a colour to translucent. The 15C range change from translucent to a colour below 15C and the 45c range are a colour and then change to translucent at 45C.

Safety and Instructions

• Safety First: Please read the Technical Data Sheet (TDS) and the Safety Data Sheets for the thermochromic slurry (SDS) and the Soft Base binder (SDS) before use. Handle with care, avoid skin contact and ingestion, and store properly in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
• Storage: Keep it in a cool, dark place, ideally at 20°C or below, with the lid tightly closed, and use within 12 months. Don't let it freeze, and don't store it with food or drink. Direct sunlight and UV damage the thermochromic materials.
• Preparation is Key: Ensure your chosen surface is clean and dry for optimal ink adhesion.
• Mixing Made Easy: Combine the slurry and binder in equal parts to activate the ink's colour-changing magic.
• Application Methods: Screen printing gives the best results; a foam roller can be used for smaller projects. Avoid brushes: a brush can't apply the ink thinly or evenly enough for a good colour change.
• Drying: Keep heat low and short. Stay below 180°C, as briefly as possible, and avoid prolonged heat above 75°C. Brief heat at 100°C for 1–2 minutes is fine.
• Avoid Mixing and Layering: For the most striking effects, avoid mixing thermochromic ink with other colours or layering it.
