Para empezar, aplique la primera capa (Self Crack Base). Esta debe ser impresa como una capa bastante gruesa, y luego 'curada al instante' hasta que esté seca al tacto. Es posible colorear la base con pigmentos de color (hasta un 6%), aunque el blanco original da un efecto craquelado sorprendente por sí mismo.
En segundo lugar, aplique la capa de acabado "Self Crack", lista para usar. Si utiliza menos tinta, las grietas serán más pequeñas, si utiliza más tinta las grietas serán más grandes. Para obtener los mejores resultados, le recomendamos que aplique una capa media o gruesa. Cuando haya terminado la impresión, deberá secar el artículo o la prenda durante 2 1/2 - 3 minutos a una temperatura de 165c (330F).
