Thermochromic Pigment Dark Blue 15°C is a high-performance cold sensitive pigment designed to change colour at approximately 15°C. This colour changing powder is supplied as a free-flowing, microencapsulated pigment and is ideal for use in inks, paints, coatings, plastics, resins, and other specialist applications.

Below its activation temperature, the pigment appears dark blue. As the temperature changes through approximately 15°C, the colour fades to colourless or translucent, creating a clear and visually striking reversible effect. This makes it suitable for chilled product interaction, temperature-responsive surfaces, smart materials, and cold awareness applications.

Supplied as a fine powder, it can be mixed into suitable binder systems for use in a wide range of formulations. Final performance will depend on substrate, film thickness, binder choice, and application method, so testing is recommended before production.
