Thermochromic Sprayable System-
SFXC Thermochromic Sprayable coating can be used to hide messages, colours and text. Once the ink reaches your chosen activation temperature, it will become translucent revealing the hidden layer...
This pack comprises of 50% Thermochromic slurry and 50% TDS1 Thermo lacquer, which, when mixed, produces a thermochromic ink that can be applied via spray to metal/glass/ceramics. The slurry and lacquer need to be mixed together in equal amounts, in order to create a finished ink that will adhere to smooth surfaces like ceramics, metal, glass and wood. A standard water based clear varnish should be applied over the thermochromic layer to give it maximum scratch resistance.
If you are applying this coating using a different method, please ensure a very thin coating is applied to avoid cloudiness. 2-3 coats may be needed.
We do not recommend using this product as a primer directly onto glass.
"Perfect for magic tricks"
The thermochromic ink on a printed item becomes translucent as the temperature rises above the response temperature of the thermochromic ink and then it reverses back to its original colour as the temperature is reduced again (below the response temperature). Thermochromic Inks are available in several colours and can be featured in a variety of applications including high end promotional items, advertising, labels, packaging, security documents, colour changing t-shirts, toys, novelties, screenprinting, art projects, flyers, posters etc...
