Colour Changing pigments change colour when viewed from different angles. They are iridescent and shimmery, slightly metallic and pearl-like! Just by changing your viewpoint, the pigment seems to flip to a gradient of two or more colours.

Made from flake crystals that have been coated in various types of oxide elements, these pigments are made from micro-encapsulated molecules and have a particle size of 10-60µm.

SFXC Colour Changing powders and pigments have a high dispersion rate and can be mixed into mediums such as paint. It is not necessary to apply many layers to achieve the desired effect.

Materials suitable for colour shifting pigments are paper, board, textiles and some plastics. If you are not sure whether your chosen surface will work well with this product, please contact us.

For application, mix 5% pigment to 95% of your chosen medium. SFXC colour-shifting pigments can withstand temperatures up to 450°C.

In application, using theses powders over a black surface will give the best effect, but a white background can work well if necessary.
